The Free Music Archive offers a library of legal audio downloads of all kinds of music. Founded by freefrom radio station WFMU, the music on the site is selected and uploaded by curators involved with music from around the world. Much of the music on the site is available under Creative Commons licenses and users can search for music covered by different forms of Creative Commons licenses (CC, CC BY, CC BY SA, etc). Users can also search for music that is in the public domain. Music from many genres is available on the site, including disco, hip hop, classical, rock, pop, folk, blues, novelty songs, and sound effects.
