The Public Health Image Library provided by the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention includes illustrations and photographs,  related to public health, natural disasters, health behaviors, bioterrorism, and environmental health. Most of the images on the site are in the public domain and can be used without permission, although the CDC does ask that the original institution and contributor are credited when an image is used. Images can be searched by their copyright status. A search for “coronavirus” returned 87 public domain images, including illustrations of the virus, microscopic images of the virus structure, and photos of scientists and health care workers.
