Hi everyone! I’m Renee Romano, a professor of U.S. history at Oberlin College. I have been spending this year learning all about the Digital Humanities by doing a graduate certificate in Digital Humanities through George Mason University. This site records my progress and my projects. When I’m not taking classes, I teach and write about 20 and 21st century African American history, the history of whiteness , historical memory, and public history.
